Biography

On Volcano is a four-piece indie pop band from Tampere, Finland. The band started as a post-rock trio in 2004. In March 2005 the band played it's first gig at a local alternative club in Tampere. Minna was in the audience that night. A few days after the band started jamming with her and Minna joined the band as a lead singer. Original drummer Nuutti left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Eino in 2007.

On Volcano's debut EP My Sleep Was Filled with Dreams was released on April 2008. The EP was recorded, mixed, and produced entirely by the band itself. On Volcano is currently unsigned, however japanese indie label, Quince Records distributes the EP in Japan.
